So... updating this account is becoming harder with each passing day. So much is on my mind that I don't even think about my computer having internet capabilities so I can jump on and try to be somewhat productive. That and art block makes it even harder.

Oh well.

In other news... Finally managed to get a hold of Quest 64. My brother use to rent that game from a video store (that no longer exists...) and I'd watch him play. It looked fun (though I was young enough that I didn't care about the story, only the magic and stuff). So I decided to track down a copy and, finally able to play it myself, have fallen in love with the ancient graphics (polygons anyone?) and the basic plot.

Have also started playing Rune Factory 2. I was iffy about buying it (since I own... like... more than a dozen Harvest Moon/Harvest Moon based games already)... but now I realize what a good decision that was. Farming + RP game where you can tame monsters that will fight by your side, water your crops, give you milk, eggs of wool... yeah. I'm in love. Again.

Went to a theme park with Draza and Triv on the 1st. It was... fun, I suppose. Today my calves are so tight that walking is hard... and the skin on my lower back is extremely tender, as is the skin on my lower abdomen. Ugh. Moving around sucks right about now.

And fly bites can be found... just about everywhere on my body. Very glad I bought some anti-itch cream earlier last week.

It is, indeed, time for a change. What kind of change? Well... I don't know yet. I want to cut my hair (it's shoulder blade length-ish now... and I'm thinking above the shoulders/styled. No colour 'cause it fries my poor, poor hair), and since I'm going shopping in the city next Saturday with Draza I plan on getting some new clothes. A new look never hurt anyone, right?... I'm just kinda.. plain and blah right now (I feel that way) and I just wanna spice something up if even a little.

Ever have the problem where you just seem to be an afterthought?

Like... something happened (big, memorable, exciting) to a close friend/family member and... you only hear about it weeks later, from someone other than the person it happened to?

Or...

The only time they seem keen on talking to/doing anything with you is when they seem to have nothing better to do (no rearranging of schedule needed)?

I've been getting that feeling a lot from someone close lately and it's getting really hard to deal with.

Being second best doesn't bother me...
But only being there when there isn't anything else....; That does bother me.

But what can I do? I don't confront people unless absolutely necessary.
All I can do is distance myself from them and hope whatever connection they think we have disappears, because right now, the last thing I need is more emotional strain.
